First-rate programming, play spaces and vending are the better known hallmarks of each Black Rose event. While we play, learn and shop, we also take this opportunity to raise money for worthy causes in the leather community and the community at large.

The proceeds from this year's charity fund raising activities went to the National Coalition for Sexual Freedom (NCSF) and Bread for the City.

The mission of Bread for the City is to provide in need residents of Washington, DC, with comprehensive services, including food, clothing, medical care, and legal and social services, in an atmosphere of dignity and respect.
